What are automatic sliding gates?

• Suitable for residential, commercial and industrial applications
• Electric powered (from mains or solar)
• The gates are motorised and moved through 'runners' which are fitted to the gate
• The gate's frame is usually made of steel while infill material can be steel, wood, wrought iron, cast iron, tubes, mash or wire mash

What is a track?

• The gate track is the steel rail that the gate moves over by way of its rollers. The tracks are fitted through a concrete channel that runs across the driveway. If the driveway is made of concrete than tracks can be fitted directly without the need for excavation.
